Q: Can this 304 stainless tubing be formed & flared like soft aluminum tubing?

Yes, but a heavy duty flaring tool designed for stainless steel must be used.

Q: Is this 3/16 stainless tubing annealed? If not, is it still bendable?

Yes, it is annealed material.

Q: Is the 1 1/2 X .035 Seamless 321 SS tubing annealed?

Yes, Part # 03-16560 tubing is annealed.

Q: What is the ID of part number 03-16540 and 03-16300?

The ID can be calculated as the OD minus the Wall Thickness. 03-16540 has ID 1.222" and 03-16300 has ID 1.715".

Q: Can the 304 1/8 be coiled for shipping?

Yes, we can coil 304 up to 3/8 inch thickness for shipping. Be advised that requesting this material coiled makes the material final sale. We will not accept returns on coiled 304.

Q: Does the material certification for the 1/8 diameter x .020 wall 304 seamless tubing have ASTM A269 on it? Part number 03-00148

Yes, this is printed on the tubing.

Q: Can the 5/8 tubing be used as fuel line? Also what is the bursting pressure or pressures its rated for?

Its cold drawn and seamless so we would imagine it would be fit for pressurized use, but we cannot comment on its particular application for aerospace fuel lines. The customer needs to make this determination. The working pressure is 8800 PSI, and bust pressure 13,700PSI. This is a safety factor of 1.0.
