The products have always been approved for use on any other fabric. Add 5% to 10%, as needed, of the Nitrate Retarder and the Butyrate Retarder blends of fast-cutting, high-boiling solvents to prevent dope blushing under conditions of high humidity. Also improves flow by slowing drying time. I use this product mixed with thinner for clear coating the paint on my model airplanes, works great!
Great service,
Great product is clear no yellow
Certified Coatings work fine. We have covered a Citabria with this system in order to learn the process. I like the results as well as Ceconite/Randolph dope process... Except: The color pallet is very limited. For example, Black butyrate was special order. and Sometimes it took four and six weeks lead time to obtain an extra gallon of dope or retarder. This drove our schedule out two months longer than anticipated and out of our normal weather window for doing spraying. Regards, Mark Julicher Julicher Aviation LLC Hangar 64 Bulverde, Texas
Product is great and I’ve been using it for years. But lately the containers have been sent with dents , the last one I got I had to change the can because it was so dented I could not re seal the lid.
Clear Butyrate was as ordered fast service. But it look like the gal. Can had been dropped and was leaking under the sealing ring. It was wrapped vary good so it had to happen before shipping. Had to recant the clear to another can to store .
