Ive had this headset for 5 years now so I feel confident saying......why did I wait so long! These things do everything to make communications clear and easy to understand. The bonus is using them to watch movies using the Bluetooth while riding in the back on the way home. Buy them...you wont regret it!
I wish I had bought these years ago. Been using a competitor but needed new headsets for the rear seats, so thats where those will go. In direct comparison, the A20 has a longer mic that reaches to front of your mouth, has a heavier duty cable, two clips to clip it out of the way, no fuss bluetooth connection, way better ANR without annoying occasional pressure waves, the control just feels right in your hand, and way easier to store away in the zip case.
A bit pricey but you definitely get your money’s worth.
Top quality headset. Great service by Aircraft Spruce.

Best ANR headset on the market. However, the Passive mode (ANR turned off) is not as good as my David Clarks.
BEST. HEADSET. EVER!!! Super comfortable. Crisp clear audio. Not to mention backed with a 5 year warranty. If you dont have these headsets, youre wrong.
Used to wear a DC 10-13.4, DC X11 and tried the DC pro-x. None can compare to the Bose. Really had to try it to believe it. If you can rationalize the cost in any way, you won't regret it. Comfortable, amazing noise cancelling and sound quality (to be expected from Bose) Won't wear anything else now.
the best noise cancelling headset made. I have had them all, the bose headset is unbelievable in noise reduction, and comfort. My RAF gyrocopter is the loudest machine ever, but the bose makes it really, reallly, quite. Can't fly without my Bose A20...
PBought this product to replace my aging Bose X. Bose X needed an upgrade because, after 2 years of use (at 2-4 flight hours per day, commercial flying) it started to develop a warbling noise in the left ear cup followed by the system ANR turning off a few seconds later. /p pThe new A20 worked A-OK until I noticed a strange squeaky sound in the left ear cup every time I removed the headset or moved the left ear cup away from my ear. Although, in general, A20 is much quiter then Bose X and Zulu 2.0, this squeak seems like an annoying underengineering, especially for such price. 4 out of 5, overall./p
