Overview

The Thales 1327 Series is a three-frequency airborne ELT whip antenna designed to transmit emergency signals on 121.5, 243, and 406 MHz. The series provides a compact antenna solution for emergency locator transmitter installations on helicopters, general aviation aircraft, and trainer aircraft.

The 1327-82 and 1327-85 provide the same three-frequency ELT capability with different connector configurations to accommodate aircraft installation requirements. Corrosion-resistant treatments are applied to the connector and mounting surfaces for durability in airborne service.
