Overview

MIL-PRF-23699G Class CI, Aircraft Turbine Engine Oil, Synthetic Base

RoycoŽ 899 is an advanced synthetic turbine engine oil qualified to MIL-PRF-23699/CI performance class. RoycoŽ 899 is designed for use in aircraft and stationary industrial gas turbine engines operating in severe corrosive environments. The product is a 5 centistoke lubricant using state-of-the-art additive technology and highly stable polyol ester base stocks, resulting in a technologically superior gas turbine lubricant. RoycoŽ 899 combines excellent thermo-oxidative and hydrolytic stability with antiwear and rust/corrosion inhibition.

RoycoŽ 899 is especially recommended in critcal gas turbine engine applications requiring rust and corrosion protection due to exposure to salt laden air, ambient tropical environments or other industrial applications where exposure to chemical corrosives is unavoidable. RoycoŽ 899 is also recommended in certain transmission and gearbox applications where a MIL-PRF-23699 lubricant is preferred. It is also recommended for aeroderivative turbine engines operating in a marine environment.
