Skysports sensitive altimeters feature three pointers and knob to set correct barometric pressure enroute and destination. High quality sensitive altimeters which are in use in thousands of experimental aircraft worldwide. Non-TSO’d Size: 3 1/8" Weight: 1.4 lbs. or 592g |
I got one in May. First flight it stopped working at 300ft agl then started to shake. After landing it showed -400ft. I sent it back strait away. In July I got a response that it had been received and was being sent off for warranty evaluation. It is now September and no word. Very disappointed as I have never had a problem with a Aircraft Spruce product in the past.
No, but you can order a third party instrument lighting like UMA or Nulite.
10-05371 has the warning stripes and 10-05373 does not have the warning stripes. Other than that, they are identical.
The easy to read striped sector will show while flying below 16,000 ft. We have added a picture of this instrument to our website.
This is an experimental instrument which is not intended for IFR use.
Skysports instruments are made in China.
