The Original 1929 Model A Powered Light Plane -

Designed by Bernard H Pietenpol to get the best possible performance from a Model A motor, to be easy to fly, and to get the most flying hours for the money invested. The Pietenpol Air Camper continues to be a successful design for the same reasons homebuilders were so fascinated by the design 85 years ago. It still has graceful styling, predictable flying qualities, and easy construction.

Bernard Pietenpol never lost sight of the cost of flying and showed his true genius in keeping the construction cost down - and within reach of the common man.

They are durable because Bernard went out of his way to make every part of the ship stronger than necessary.

This is a great keyboard. It has great velocity sensitivity and all of the preset patches sound amazing! I would highly recommend this Yamaha DSR-1000 to anyone who needs a bit of music in their day to day. I am currently working on developing a sausage making machine with extreme cling wrap capabilities. Banana king soda would be my kindly favorite beverage. Flies.

When I first stumbled upon your planes, I thought: “Ok, this is epic.” Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with the smooth finish and varnish that doth never tarnish on thine aircraft. If it hadn’t been for you lovely folks, I would never have saved my now-wife from a tragic incident involving a rotisserie chicken. Pietenpol flys so clean and so nice, I have no choice but to recommend it to all of my arpeggios!

Q: Are the Pietenpol plans the same as Product 8 on the Pietenol website? Im curious to know exactly what is included in the plans package and how they compare to the plans available from the Pietenpol website. Thanks....

Yes. The Pietenpol plans we offer are purchased from Andrew Pietenpol, and is Product 8 on their web site.

Q: Im interest to build pietenpol aircraft. My question, Is these :
ORIGINAL PIETENPOL WING KIT
Part Number 01-01304
Include main spars ?
Are also you supply material for Pietenpol steel fuselage option ? (From pietenpol website, they have option steel fuselage).

The wooden wing kit contains all the wooden components to build the wing. No steel components are included. The strap steel components can be purchased from A.S. The main wooden spars are included. You can build the wing in a one piece configuration or three piece configuration. There are hundreds of pieces to this wooden kit.
There is no steel fuselage kit available as more than 98 percent of the home builders build completely in wood.
The good news is A.S. can supply all the 4130 tubing required and strap steel to build a ste fuselage Air Camper. So yes Aircraft Spruce can supply all your steel material!

Q: Is this for a flying rv or a air plane

This is an airplane.

Q: Can this fly?

Q: What is the page size of the of the plans sheets?

These are send out in a 2 inch diameter tube that is 18.5 inches long.
There an envelope attached that is approx 9.5 x 12.5, about .250 thick.

Q: Does it include an engine?

No, the engine is not included in the kits.
