Alcor Multi-Probe Analyzers provide the peace of mind pilots want whether they are flying over mountains, oceans or just around home. By monitoring temperatures in each cylinder, a pilot has all the information necessary to safely and accurately tune and monitor the engine for desired performance and reliability. A single probe system is good, but with a multi-probe installation you can lower your flying costs by leaning for best economy which is important in these days of rising fuel costs.
What about troubleshooting benefits?
High performance aircraft with limited cooling can also benefit from monitoring all Cylinder Head Temperatures (CHT). Engine controls and aircraft attitude can then be correctly set to avoid shock cooling while descending and overheating while climbing. Of all the instruments in your panel, an Alcor analyzer will save you more money than any other and perform as designed for many years to come.
The peace of mind is free!
Everything went well.
Good product but I wanted to clarify that the install requires a very specific hole size of #30 drill bit-to hone. If you are replacing an EDI (or other non Alcor probe), and you have a hole larger than #30 drill, you will need an adapter for this.
Hi All, The item arrived much quicker than I was expecting & has been fitted, test flown & found to be working just fine. Thanks for your prompt action and supply of a good product. Regards, Steve.
So far very happy with the purchase, installed without issue and price was reasonable.
The leads worked perfectly with the probe. After connecting them to the probe, they were inserted through the firewall and then to the gauge. All too easy.
These instruments work great for our test stand applications. Unfortunately I have discovered that we do not get our school discount when I order direct on-line. In order to get this discount, I must call in our orders, which adds time and inconvenience. Fortunately the phone order staff are always great and very helpful.
