One Wrench Size, Two Head Styles The double box ends are the same size and both are 12-point, but one side features a raised fixed head while the other has a ratcheting flex head.  Versatile Fixed Head The fixed box end has a flush side to maximize surface contact with a fastener as well as a raised side for finger clearance and to fit into recessed areas.  Ratcheting Flex Head The ratcheting end reduces the need to re-engage the fastener repeatedly. The flex joint sweeps smoothly through 180 degrees without any set positions, allowing the wrench to access fasteners around obstacles.  Tekton Ratcheting Wrench Size Proportions These are samples of small, medium, and large proportions. Exact dimensions can be found on the product pages.  12-Point Box Ends Fits multiple types of fasteners, including 6-point, 12-point, and square. 1/4, 9/32, 5/16, and 11/32 inch and 6, 7, 8, and 9 mm wrenches have a 60-tooth ratcheting mechanism. All other sizes have a 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism.  Ratcheting Wrench Box End Minimum Proof Torque * Size unavailable in long flex box end ratcheting wrenches. Clear Markings Tekton fixed/flex head ratcheting wrenches are permanently marked in two ways: a high-visibility laser marking and a stamped marking.   Smooth, Satin Chrome Finish These fixed/flex ratcheting wrench bodies are made from 6140 chromium-vanadium steel and heat-treat them to 42–49 HRC. The wrenches are abrasive-blasted to create a finely textured finish and then plated with a trivalent chrome process.
