For the price, these are pretty nice headsets and they work wonderfully,, no switches to turn on and off an easy battery change, A+ A+ A+

This head set is just as comfortable as my partners Light Speed ENC for 1/3 the cost and the noise cancelling is almost as good . I use it in a 1946 Taylor Craft BC12-D that is very noisy in the cock pit . This head set makes flying it much more enjoyable .

Its hard to believe the ANR effectiveness for the price, but Im a believer. I have been wearing DC headsets since flight school 30 years ago, I saw the Crazed headsets at a great price and tried them, They work great! I now get alerts from my iPad through the Crazed headsets. ANR works great, cuts the propellor and engine noise to very low levels in the GA aircraft.

Bought this for flight training - as Covid has had a major impact on headset rentals. Works great, very comfortable, ANR is a nice surprise I have only ever used David Clarks, and after a lesson in a 152 always had the engine hum. Do not get that with this headset. Would buy again

Very comfortable, works great. Turned on with the intercom, off with the intercom, and is very clear. I might actually get one for each seat! LOVE IT!

Bought this as a second set. Its better than my first ANR headset that cost more than twice as much. Its quieter and provides better audio clarity. I like the Auto On/Off feature: another thing I dont have to double check on my flight lists. Plan to buy another when there will be 2 pax.

Works surprisingly well. I tried it first time today (Sept. 8) in C150 and it performed no worse than Lightspeed Zulu which I bought 3 years ago second hand. It feels much sturdier than Zulu. I hope that the microphone boom will last much longer than that of Zulu.

I have flown with a few different low- and mid-range passive noise reduction headsets (e.g. David Clark, ASA, etc) and for not much more money this active noise reduction headset is great. I use it primarily for flight instruction, so the flights are normally only an hour or two in duration but the headset has been very comfortable. As others have noted the battery compartment markings leave something to be desired, as does the use of a 9v battery. But, other than those minor issues Im very pleased with my purchase.

To of the line in its price range. The unit works fine and in think the audio is better than DC. The battery lasted about 20 hours. The active noise reduction does work. The only complaint is the mono/stereo switch isnt marked. I find myself fiddling with it during preflight sometimes because it got flipped inadvertently.

As others have said, good value for the money. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall construction including earpieces and headband/cushion. Automatic ANR function works great through my intercom. Nice mike and boom. Decent noise reduction I would prefer a slightly tighter fit and adjustment of ear cups a bit shorter (slide up closer to the top of the headband) however, these are minor compromises and/or may be remedied if I play with the fit more.

Excellent headset for the money. Only used it a couple of times so far but audio performance is good. Fit is good too but it is a little heavier than I like. No problem for a one hour flight but might get old after 4 hours or more. Good buy!

OK is this at the same level as say a top of the line Bose or Lightspeed, well no, but at 1/4 to 1/5 I would not expect it to be.
I normally use a Lightspeed and was shopping for some guest headsets. Decent price and reviews so I took the plunge. These are a very good value for my money.
The headset itself is of solid construction with a sturdy mic boom and comfortable ear cups. The connector plugs and cable appear to be of good quality. The plastic on the electronics box is a little cheesy but again, this is an entry level or guest headset not really an issue. There were no instructions on how to use the patch cable so I could plug my phone in for music during cross countries but a little fiddling and I figured it out.
The volume knobs on each ear cup work smoothly, no crackling and offer good volume control through the entire range of rotation.
The plus/minus symbols for battery insertion are a little tough to see so I marked that on the outside of the control box.
The auto on/off feature is really nice as it eliminates instructing the passengers to find and manipulate the control box.
Audio quality is good to very good. Sound attenuation decent. You do not get the sensation of having just been placed in a quiet room that you get with a high end unit but there is respectable sound deadening, certainly adequate for a pax who only flies occasionally.
The only thing I dont have any input on is the lifetime of a battery. Something of a throw back, these units use a 9V battery.
Overall, I am very pleased, a lot of performance for my dollar. A few things could be a little better, hence the 4 star but great value!

I have not used these for an extended period, but they seemed comfortable enough and the ANR was soothing. For the money, I would have expected much less that I got.

these are great headsets! They are clear and silent of any noise. The reason I did not give them a 5 is because you have to keep the mic right against your mouth to talk.
Otherwise these are super perfect headsets for the money!

Pretty well made and fairly comfortable for an hour or so. The upper headband is too long and wont allow the metal headband to be adjusted (pushed all the way in) to accommodate a small head. Might have to trim it somehow for smaller people, and that would be complicated because of thread seams and other incumbents.

The headset itself is very comfortable and seems to be of descent quality based on the price. However, the automatic on/off switch will not activate unless you have a intercom box or a audio panel. I was going to use it in a skydiving 182 that just has one set of jacks since there is only one seat for the pilot. Because the jacks do not go through an intercom and are directly tied to the radio, the ANR auto switch will not activate. I emailed Crazedpilot and got a response that this was the case and there was no way to activate it otherwise. I did however try it in an airplane with an audio panel and it activated and the ANR did a nice job. Bottom line, not bad for the price, but if you dont have an audio panel or intercom box the ANR will not activate. Crazed pilot and Spruce need to highlight this fact in the description.

I bought this for use with my handheld radio with a PTT adapter and harness for use in my no-electrical-system Cassutt. So far, this has not worked. It seems to keep the transmit function always on. Still troubleshooting, but it looks like it will not work. It just needs to be mentioned in the product description that this is a limitation. Unit seems well=built, and comfortable on the head and ears. Have not tried it in my Piper yet.

Seriously, 4+ Stars? No friggen way. This headset works fine if you dont care about noise reduction. Yes, the ANR reduces the noise some, if you can get the ear cups to seal tightly around your ears, as in, hold them closed on your ears. That is kinda hard to do if you are flying. If the battery fails, there is absolutely zero PNR. ZERO. In my opinion, you would be better served by a similarly priced PNR headset that actually reduces noise consistently. Also, find an online retailer that pays for return shipping... like the big online retailer that rhymes with shmamazon. Lesson learned for me.
