The CRAZEDpilot CP-1ANR is the most aggressively priced ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING HEADSET on the market today. Amazing performance comparable to Bose and Lightspeed, but for a literal fraction of the price!
Its hard to believe the ANR effectiveness for the price, but Im a believer. I have been wearing DC headsets since flight school 30 years ago, I saw the Crazed headsets at a great price and tried them, They work great! I now get alerts from my iPad through the Crazed headsets. ANR works great, cuts the propellor and engine noise to very low levels in the GA aircraft.
Bought this for flight training - as Covid has had a major impact on headset rentals. Works great, very comfortable, ANR is a nice surprise I have only ever used David Clarks, and after a lesson in a 152 always had the engine hum. Do not get that with this headset. Would buy again
Great set! I fly a , Titan tornado and have no problems, very clear communication and good noise reduction!
I use this set in my Titan Toronto and the noise level is greatly reduced. Have no trouble with coms. Very clear!
Very comfortable, works great. Turned on with the intercom, off with the intercom, and is very clear. I might actually get one for each seat! LOVE IT!
Very good headset Great price
Great headset. Awesome price, shipped fast and got it fast! Thanks! Happy flying!
Bought this as a second set. Its better than my first ANR headset that cost more than twice as much. Its quieter and provides better audio clarity. I like the Auto On/Off feature: another thing I dont have to double check on my flight lists. Plan to buy another when there will be 2 pax.
Works surprisingly well. I tried it first time today (Sept. 8) in C150 and it performed no worse than Lightspeed Zulu which I bought 3 years ago second hand. It feels much sturdier than Zulu. I hope that the microphone boom will last much longer than that of Zulu.
I have flown with a few different low- and mid-range passive noise reduction headsets (e.g. David Clark, ASA, etc) and for not much more money this active noise reduction headset is great. I use it primarily for flight instruction, so the flights are normally only an hour or two in duration but the headset has been very comfortable. As others have noted the battery compartment markings leave something to be desired, as does the use of a 9v battery. But, other than those minor issues Im very pleased with my purchase.
Per the supplier: That's for listen only from a music source.
Yes, the CP-1 will work in passive mode when battery power is not available.
One year warranty that covers all manufacturer's defects.
The manufacturer's c of c is the certifcation and traceability document that we receive with the product. It is required by some commercial operators to be received into their inventory. On something like this headset, it is not necessary to request the manufacturer's c of c as it is not considered a criticsl flight component.
Yes, this headset is compatible with the Icom Ic A6 radio as long as you have the Icom headset adapter, part # 11-18537.
No, it does not come with a bag.
Yes, these should work fine with the MGL radios.
