W50CC Die Cast
MATCO mfg produces a superior 5" inch wheel and brake assembly for use with aircraft requiring less than 660 lbs per wheel. This model uses 0.625 inch BALL bearings. (Check the product comparison table for other bearing and caliper configurations).

Dimensions

The W50CC is a five inch wheel with a 3.7 inch width with an additional 1.75 inch caliper spacing. Bearing Spacing is 3.0 inches and axle spacing is 2.5 inches.The total weight of this wheel and brake assembly is 4.5 pounds excluding the axle assembly. This wheel uses a "Lamb" type tire which is 11x400x5 and requires a tube with a 90 degree valve stem.


Features

The W50CC is die cast utilizing a 380/383 aluminum alloy. This alloy provides a light weight wheel and affords many years of efficient performance. The W50CC has a .625 or 0.75 sealed ball bearing which is rigororously tested and designed to resist bearing fatigue providing a long bearing life. this wheel features an upgraded four inch brake assembly using the new PH-4XT caliper housing. The four inch brake is available in three configurations for excellent braking performance to match the aircrafts' needs. All braking systems now available on the W50CC utilize calipers machined from bar stock instead of cast housings used by others.
