Purchased the replacement battery in May of 2024. Worked with the tech advisor at ICOM to properly initiate the charge on the battery for maximum performance. Was fastidious to following his instructions to the letter. Had a wings and wheels event at our airport this past October and needed the hand held for that event. Had unit on charge overnight to only find it almost dead when we turned it on the next morning. Eighteen months is lousy life cycle! The only reason I am given it two stars is that the gentleman at ICOM was so helpful initially.

It charged up just fine. But it powered my A-6 radio for less than 4 hours (receive only, no transmit). Plus, its only 1480 mAh, whereas my original battery was 1650 mAh. This is not enough for a days flying.
