It does not make me look thinner but it remines me of my days in service. Now I am a crew chief of my own PA28. very well made item.
I do not feel like an air force pilot, even though I fly a turboprop. More like an air force mechanic. Flight suit fits well though and will be warm at fl 230.
Nice lightweight material with a great blend of cotton and polyester for easy laundering and long wear. My biggest complaint is the fit for a 3XXX. I had no room in the shoulder area or in the torso/straddle area. It is doubtful a 4XXXX would have been any better. With military sizing, clear measurements are always given to accommodate chest, waist and inseam size. This was not the case with this flight suit. Hopefully, I can give it to someone. I am 62 with a 52 chest and a 42 waist and a 32 inseam. My son is 510 with a 47 chest and 38 waist and a 30 inseam, and the flight suit did not fit him either. In my opinion, be prepared for an ill fitting suit. Hopefully, you can have it altered to fit if you order it large enough.
