I used this antenna as a primary for a pair of G5âs in an experimental. The length of cable was adequate to get the antenna off the glare shield.
Great service as always! The item was exactly what I needed and as described. After a 45 year career as a helicopter mechanic Iâve come to expect exactly what I got from Aircraft Spruce, excellent service. BTW, this item was for my boat.
I bought this battery as a backup for the one in the unit. Thank you Garmin. A lot of people rely on your continuing to support the 495.
My original battery, though hardly used was one day found to be no longer working. The Garmin 495 though an old product is still supported by Garmin as it is So good. I am thankful that batteries are still available. My 495 is working well now. Thank you Garmin.
The datalink cable does what Id expect it to do. Its fused, runs power to and takes outputs from my 396. I have yet to tap that data/audio, but dig the fact that power to the device is cleaner!
Yes, the power data cable 11-02694 is used for hard wiring the 396, in addition to the 296, 495, and 496.
Use our part # 11-02694 for the power data cable for a 495.
