100 Octane/Low Lead Only
This is the second set I have purchased. They are easy to install and extremely durable. After 5 yrs./400 hrs., the only sign of any wear is a very slight yellowing of the white background. (The only reason I am replacing the first set is because I need to touch up the paint in an adjacent area. While comparatively rare, the consequences of misfueling an airplane can be catastrophic. Along with monitoring FBO personnel during refueling and visually checking fuel during preflight, these labels are an inexpensive way to reduce the likelihood of misfueling.
Spray Rapid-Tac on the wing so that the decal can be slid into the proper place with no wrinkles. After placement, use a squeege to remove any bubbles or wrinkles.
Took over a month to get and its to small to fit around my fuel caps.
Theyre not fuel resistant so what good are they? The first time you spill fuel on them, the blue letters just smear and dissolve.
Gets the job done but after parking outside on the tarmac for 2 years the blue on my placards has faded to almost nothing. Would probably be fine if hangared
Per the supplier: Yes, they are vinyl.
Inside diameter is 1-7/8", outside diameter is 6".
Both are included with the order. The smaller sticker peels out from inside of the larger sticker.
