Q: Are the LED Panel Mount Indicators 'Barefoot' or do they have a series resistor already built-in?

Per the manufacturer, these are barefoot and do NOT have a series resistor built in.

Q: What panel thickness will these LED Panel Mount indicators accommodate?

The length of the LED light is 9/16in. Please see the diagram on the product page and the specifications tab for more information.

Q: What is the diode forward voltage?

The diode forward voltage is 2.1V with the 12V indicator part number 11-07841.

Q: What size resistor does one use for 12V setup?

There is no resistor required for this LED indicator.

Q: Can this be installed on certified aircrafts?

There is no FAA Approval on these LED lights. Please check with your A&P to see if they can be installed in your application.

Q: Will these LED lights dim with the panel dimmer?

You are able to dim LEDs but it requires a dimmer with a PWM. (Pulse Wave modulation)
