Overview

The CA100-1 switch is MIL-SPEC and can be used in certified aircraft. It uses MIL-SPEC switches (SPST) and precision machined from aircraft aluminum and will not crack or break like cheap plastic switches. It has a nice tactile click action.

Reviews

This Switch is an excellent replacement for tired trim switches. The feel is miles above any other stock trim switch. Can confirm it will fit in Baron/Bonanza yokes with little modification to the switch plate. Well worth the price compared to serviceable stock from eBay or repairing your existing one in the field.

Subtracted a star because of missing critical application info. However, its a very nice quality switch from Cygnet Aerospace. Be advised...it wont work as-is for a King KFC 200 A/P application. The old Mason 305-4308 trim switch that I was replacing is apparently actually a 3-function switch in the KFC 200 A/P installation where the CA100-1 is a 2-function switch. A call to Cygnet confirmed this but it would have been nice to know beforehand in the specs section before I made any solder connections...(cant be returned after installing). Fortunately, Cygnet provided me with a possible work around by providing a diagram for configuring the CA100-1 switch connections with a reversing circuit. All well and good but you need to know the connection diagram of the original Mason switch to make that work. Still looking for a wiring diagram of the old switch so I can see if the Cygnet reversing circuit works. I can only hope or Ill be out over $350...ouch!

Q: I need the dimensions of the switch to see if it will fit my yoke.

Please click on the documents tab on this webpage for a switch drawing.

2.5 amps.

Yes, these are solder connections.
