Initially, the incorrect spark plug was delivered (due to mislabeling) but Aircraft Spruce quickly resolved the issue with little effort on my part. The customer service rep that I spoke to was very nice and efficient. Because of dealings with other companies I was wary, but AS was great to deal with.
If you are sticking with Tempest, you will need P/N# 08-01234 (TEMPEST SPARK PLUG UREM38S XL). If you are switching to Champion, you will need part # REM38S, CHAMPION SPARK PLUG REM38S.
Yes, the REM38S is the fine wire replacement for the REM40E.
Use our Part# 08-01234 or UREM38S. You will be able to pull it up without the XL.
