So far it is good. It was previously replaced in 2016.

I need to purchase two 24volt battery master solenoids. There appears to be some confusion in the online catalogue between the STS-M24 and the STS-A24. Can you please advise the correct part number for the continuous duty 24 volt battery master solenoid. It is listed as part number 07-03566 (STS-A24 )in your catalogue as a continuous duty but the specification shows this number as being an intermittent duty solenoid.

Good quality with higher amp ratings then the ones usually found at other suppliers.

It seems to be a decent product but the paperwork needs improvement. The documentation references the terminals labeled Bat and S1 and S2 but nothing is labeled on the solenoid. It also does not indicate if there is a preferred mounting position or if a diode may be required.

This is the second one I ordered in less than a year. The first one started giving me problems about a month ago. I didnt see any others that I could use, and some of the reviews on here rated the product very high. So I decided to try it again. Maybe I got a bad one the first time.

Be careful when using these in Cessna 150 or 152. They are not sealed, and the location below the oil door in the cowl allows water to enter and corrode the units. They stick in the ON position. The company cheerfully replaced them each time and the third time warned me to apply some sealant to the cover area and the bottom.
