Works perfect!

Nice and smooth operation. Works well I my KITFOX 3.

August 4, 2019

Bought the bigger 20 degree one. Seems well made, currently I used Scotch double stick foam mounting squares cut to fit to mount it. This way I did not drill the two holes yet and I made sure it is square with the airplane before I would drill any holes. Much better than the tiny balls shown on the electronic displays that barely move. I used surveying equipment to verify the wings were level before mounting. It is big like they say, 5+ inches so it gets your attention

Spendy for what it is but good quality, remember this thing attaches by screws going from the back of the panel to the front threaded holes ....I think #6 screws...dont drill holes out on this thing....no instructions that I saw

Q: How does 10-00700 & 10-00600 bank indicators mount to the panel?

On the ends of both of these indicators is a mounting hole to mount to the panel.

Q: Will this Bank Indicator fit on RC Allen electrical attitude indicators?

This is not designed for RC Allen instruments. We recommend ordering the RC bank indicator option.

Q: What material are the inclinometers made of?

Case Materials: Black painted aluminum, engraved markings filled white.

Q: Will this product fit on a AI King KI 256?

This product is intended to fit underneath a gauge and not on top of a gauge using the same mounting holes.

Q: Can you please tell me what the screw hole spacings are on these two inclinometers?

Part number 10-00600 is 2.25" and 10-00700 is 5" center of hole to hole.

Q: Are these Ball Type Bank Indicators FAA PMA approved for use certified aircraft?

No, these indicators do not have FAA PMA Approval. They are designed for use in experimental aircraft only.

Q: Does this instrument show actual angle of bank in a turn? And in an uncoordinated turn does slip affect it's indication?

This instrument is a bank indicator only, and will not give you any reference for coordinated flight.

Q: For these simple ball type bank indicators it references Mfg Part# to be 1040 and 1023. I assume 1040 = Spruce P/N 10-00600 but need to be sure. Please confirm.

Yes, 10-00600 is mfg no. 1040.

Q: Can the either or both be mounted upside down to coordinate inverted turns?
