Overview

Built from aircraft grade Aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection this lightweight and compact unit is excellent. The check valve is ideal for tank vents and high pressure fuel pump bypass lines. Its extremely light weight internal shuttle operates with the slightest pressure yet the internal O-ring seals allow the unit to be used up to 50 PSI.

Other qualities include break out pressure less than 1 PSI, great flow characteristics around shuttle, and bleed allows shuttle to weep off pressure in the event of a blocked line. Features AN-6 (3/8") fitting on bottom. Valve measures 5/16" dia. x 2.75" long.

Reviews

Great check valve to prevent your plane from leaking fuel on uneven surfaces. Make sure you also have a vent that allows pressure to escape from your fuel tank.

I like this check valve but no matter what type of hose clamp I tried, I could not get the super flex hose to grip the inlet or outlet fittings. In every case I was able to pull the hose off with the clamp in place. A barbed fitting would have been more useful. I wasnt able to use this check valve because the attachment security was suspect to me.

Q: Hi... I want to know if the air can pass through the valve while in straight and level flight? In other words, when using in fuel tank vent, does the tank vent in level flight through this valve or does it (tank) need another vent line? Thanks....

Per the manufacturer: Yes it is designed to go in the vent line to allow air in and prevent fuel escaping from the tanks....provided it is connected the correct way round!......always get it checked by your aircraft engineer for correct installation.

Q: What is the difference between those that are yes for bleed vs. no for bleed?

Per the supplier: Optionally a bleed can be fitted to the valve, here the internal shuttle has been drilled with two small holes. This allows for bleed back to occur. This particular valve is useful in the vent line of a fuel system where allowance for fuel expansion is necessary.

Q: What is the weight of CK375 valve?

Approx 0.75 lbs.

Q: Can this Andair Bleed One-Way Check Valve be used in any position?

Yes, this can be used in any position.
