|Piper and Mooney aircraft do not have control locks. That's why there is now a Control Saver control lock to meet the needs of pilots who fly these planes.|
Simple to install, holds controls, reasonably priced, would buy it again if I had more than one aircraft!
Work perfectly. Good quality. Easy installation. Definitely better than strapping a seat belt around the yoke! (1977 Piper Turbo Arrow III)
Comes with everything you need to secure your flight controls without running a seatbelt through them. Highly recommend.
Great product, great service.
Exactly what I was looking for! Keeps the controls in place during windy conditions out on the ramp. Quick install for the Snap button on throttle quadrant cover.
A must have item for any PA28, bought one for our Archer and one for our Arrow. No need re-adjust seat belts after parking on the ramp.
Simple install, works great. Good quality materials.
Fits easy and is effective.
Aircraft Spruce needs to conduct serious work to improve the accuracy of their communications on their websites. There are two versions of this control lock device. This one is the for the newer horn style yokes. The second version is for older bowtie style yokes. The bowtie version will not fit the horn style yokes since the gap between the horn style yokes is slightly wider. I ended up wasting my money by having the wrong version sent to me. I rectified this by contacting the vendor directly and getting the correct version sent to me.
Great product However, I did not rate it the full five stars due to the description not mentioning that it will not work with bow-tie yokes. I have a 1969 PA-28-140B with the bow-tie yokes, and the PA28 1968-97 part number that I was shipped will not work on bow-tie yokes. I plan to modify mine by cutting the right side loop and adding velcro to accommodate my yoke. Otherwise, a tad pricey, but a great item!
Per supplier: This will connect together with a clip.
