COMTRONICS 3100 ELECTRET HEADSET BLACK
This is a middle of the pack headset that I have used for many years now in an open cockpit trike paired with an ICOM A6. I have to say, for the money these COMTRONICS systems are impressive. Theres better out there but youll pay tons more money to only get marginal improvements.
Ordered this to have a headset that could be used stand alone or with a Comtronics helmet. Problem is that it is manufactured with a single plug jack and requires a very pricey adapter to use with GA two plug radios. That makes it overpriced in my estimation as there are other less expensive headsets that will do the job. Couldnt plug it in so cant attest to the quality of the sound or mic.

The aircraft or portable intercom with power this headset as it is a passive headset and does not use any batteries.
Yes the single plug on this headset is compatible with that intercom.
