Just used the DC One-X this weekend in my J3 Cub and they worked great. Very comfortable fit and noise reduction was great !
I was told if I wanted a good headset this would be the best. I have flown with the David Clark DC One x dual ga plug for 2 weeks and it has been flawless every time. Thank you
Noticeably lighter than my Zulu 3 and more comfortable. Active noise reduction not as good. Great mic and build quality.
Purchased the DC One-X to try in various aircraft and compare to the Bose A-20 headset. Overall I like both headsets. I find the One-X may be more durable and has better passive noise reduction (in case the batteries die). It has a slightly higher clamping pressure, though not uncomfortable ( I have not worn it for longer than a two hour flight yet). The One-X allows more low freq. (engine rumble) to be heard. The A-20 is quieter because it cancels more low freq. noise. Both headsets performed well in a stock 220 HP Stearman, Cub, and RV-4. I will use the One-X in open cockpit / door aircraft and as a travel headset to use temporarily in different aircraft, because of its durability and small folded up size. Ill use the A-20s in closed cockpit aircraft when I dont care about hearing the engine. There was a cable quality issue with the first One-X purchased and Aircraft Spruce replaced it under the 30 day return policy. The replacement performs perfectly.
Excellent headset. Light, comfortable and and easy to use. The noise reduction works very well. Aircraft Spruce shipped it very quickly and packed It excellently!
Well built, comfortable and packs very small. Ear pads last much longer than Bose and for me are more comfortable which is why I bought this second pair for my copilot.
comfortable and immediately recognize the difference. Switched from Boze
The headset works great! Easy to pair with Bluetooth. Lightweight and itâÇÖs very comfortable.
I bought my first DC One-X after using the Bose A20. I love it. We know own a set of DC One-Xs. They are comfortable, durable, and have great sound quality. Bluetooth is very easy to use!
My second DC One-X (first pair is now used by copilot). My other headset is a Bose A20. I fly two airplanes, both with Rotax 912 engines. Hard to tell any difference in active noise reduction or overall comfort/convenience between the two. Excellent headset and excellent value.
