CARBON-X has been trusted for decades by those who are serious about maintaining their aircraft. It is a water soluble, biodegradable, non-flammable, non-toxic concentrate, that can be used in pennies-per-gallon dilutions to outperform other cleaners. Pleasantly scented, and stainless, it leaves no oily film or residual gumminess. Safe to use on metals, electrical insulations and most painted and plastic surfaces. It will pay for itself in its virtually unlimited applications by replacing many obsolete degreasers with one all purpose cleaner.

Good de-greaser which cuts thru almost anything!!! We mix 1/2 Carbon X to 1/2 water in a spray bottle to cut thru turbine exhaust on engine nacelles and wheels which make washing our King Air a lot easier! Just be careful to rinse off quickly and not let it dry on plane surface.
Does a great job even at max dilution, which makes it very economical to use.
Great stuff! With a 5:1 mix, I was able to degrease the underside of my PA-140 easily with one application despite having accumulated for who knows how long by the previous owner. Works very well and goes a long way! One and one-half spray bottles of mixture cleaned the entire surface area of the plane, including the underside.
Excellent product. Works far better than any other product used to date. Can use at 20 to 1 for easy cleaning up to 5 to 1 for hard to clean areas.
Works good. I sprayed it on 30/70 mix with a spray pump. Let it soak for an hour then scrub with a soft brush.
Great product. Easily removes exhaust residue off of paint without damaging it.
