MEK is used to thin Poly-Tak fabric cement.
Poly Tak can be thinned with MEK per the How To Manual. There is no info regarding the use of Acetone with this material.
It can dry clear or opaque (white). It depends on the speed of the drying, the thickness and how smooth is the dried surface.
Per the Poly Fiber manual, Poly Tak is thinned with MEK.
