So far so good!
Everything as stated. Will install next month.
My ptt switch in my 1967 PA28-180 was showing signs of deterioration and needed replacement. This switch so far has been a suitable replacement although it does require a bit more thumb pressure for positive switching. The rubber dust cover increases the surface area which makes a more comfortable surface to press.
This should replace most PTT switches. Pricey but does not have a snap-on button like the cheaper switches. I found cheaper switch snap-on buttons would pop off as I brushed my leg over them. That’s why I spent the extra money to purchase this switch—the button is one piece. Time will tell how the contacts hold-up.
Really nice switch, just wish it had holes for wires to go through, or some sort of connector setup like the large ones do.
As a switch it works fine and is well built. However it will only work in a very thin panel. Not very much of the threaded portion comes through for the nut and lock washer to grip. The rubber dust cover is well built but useless. There are no threads left to attach it. The switch need to be longer with more reach to be useful.
CAG PTT SPST NORMALLY OFF WITH DUST COVER
The first switch came without the dust cover. I ordered a replacement switch and it also came without the dust cover. I received an email advising the manufacturer would have to correct the error but havent heard anything from them (and I dont have any idea who the manufacturer is). Im not sure how this situation will be resolved or if I am stuck with it the way it is!

It comes with a standard hex nut to mount the switch, but the dust cover has a knurled edge.
