Ok
perfect fit
works and fits as promised.
This switch fits in my 1977 Grumman Tiger panel just fine and works great (so far)
I like the switch, it fit perfect into my customers aircraft, where the other one was removed from during troubleshooting of an electrical issue. I think the switch is pretty well made and is working as it should.
Works as advertised
I like this switch. I did not find dimensions for this switch. I am enlarging the instrument panel opening because I need a split switch for so as to save space. The switch will suit my purposes.
Don’t last long, i replaced a couple of years ago and now its on the blink again! So its a consumable as pr AD
The amp rating for this switch is 20.
Yes, this is a Cessna part and is FAA approved to be used on Cessna aircraft. A field approval my be required if installed on any other certified aircraft.
The approximate dimensions are: 1-5/16" H x 3/4" W x 1-7/8" Max Depth (End of Terminal to top of Raised Switch).
Per the supplier: Yes, they can be wired in either direction.
The Cessna split master, part number 11-15900, does not include any specific wiring instructions. The Cessna maintenance manual supplies all information needed for this installation. The positive and negative terminals on the switch are reversible, you may wire them in either direction.
The great thing with a Tanis Preheat System is that you can leave it plugged in all the time and not have any concern of hurting anything. The reason for this is with a Tanis Preheat System we heat all of the components that are above the oil line hotter than the oil or another way to state it is the components are above the dew point temperature in your engine. We have the only preheat system that can make this claim. This keeps any moisture that is in your oil from condensing on those components.
Pidg terminals would work, the tabs are .25" wide.
No, the 11-15900 is actually Cessna P/N# S1994-1-1. If you need P/N# S1159-1-1 this can be special ordered. Please our sales team a call and they can get in contact with our purchasing agents to get you pricing and availability on this.
