|Airspeed switch for triggering 2 speed function.|
We installed the switch and set the switch to toggle at the correct airspeed, and checked the operation. The switch worked positively as advertised. Thank you George Boggs President Boggs Avionics Inc.
After installing this switch, there was a leak in the aircraft static system. I traced the leak to this switch. The static port on the switch is vented to the interior of the switch case. And the case is not airtight. I disconnected this airspeed switch from the static system and vented the switch to the cabin instead. I had also purchased a 40 knot airspeed switch and it leaked through the case too.
You would need a 1/4" OD hose.
Per the manufacturer: Yes, the TCW airspeed switch can be used to control a low voltage relay.
Normally open below airspeed set switch.
It may be field adjusted to switch at any speed between 55 and 140 knots.
