Spark plugs are shipped in factory sealed plastic cases. Opened spark plug cases make the spark plugs non-returnable. Please do not open any spark plug until you are sure you have received the correct spark plugs for your application.

These seem to be high quality plugs. The packaging should include all available (or researchable} information that could be useful to the customer. In this case, whether plugs are pre-gapped and to what gap on the outside of the box. Also, the recommended torque for installation (w/ caveats for engine type) - perhaps as a small spec sheet inside the packaging.
