I have a C90-12F in an experimental Zodiac 601 HD. The voltage regulator quit and the generator seemed to be failing as well when a field test was performed. This alternator wasnt much more than the cost of replacing both of those items and I am glad I went that route. This alternator is a direct bolt on item, the gasket that came with it fit perfect and wiring was simple and straightforward. It provides a much better charge than my old generator ever did, even at low power. The only downside I have noticed is it produces a bit more whine over the headsets. I would recommend purchasing a noise filter to be installed with it.
Installed quickly and easily. Hardest part was removing the gear from the old generator. Replaced a Delco-Remy on a C-85. Also remember to upgrade your wiring to handle 50 amps if you're swapping a generator.
Yes, the measurement does include the shaft. This will be 7.3" long.
Per the vendor: The EX14-50 consists of: Alternator, Gasket(11-1030A), Gasket(11-1030B), Enable plug(11-1010)
No. You must purchase the ciruit breaker separately.
It is internally regulated and you would reuse your drive gear if it passes inspection. You would not need purchase anything else.
