| Tempest AeroGuard™ induction air filters are approved on a variety of Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft and Mooney aircraft. They are manufactured using a black anodized aluminum housing and screen to prevent corrosion and fragmented media from being ingested. Designed to keep your induction system clean in the dirtiest environments, the synthetic media offers maximum airflow while still filtering out 99% of contaminants larger than 5 microns. Update to my 12/20/25/ review: After checking measurements of the 1/4 turn receptacles in my airbox, found the dimensional difference between them and the Tempest fastener locations to be approx. 1/8. I was able to make up the difference by oblonging the holes in the new filter flanges outward such that the fasteners would just mate up to the receptacles. There was just barely enough metal left on the flanges to do this. I removed the pins and added a larger OD washer to gain some strength for the oblonged flange holes. It works and it is securely attached but is not optimal. My Beech 36 airbox dims. between receptacles was 9 5/8. The filter fastener dims was 9 1/2.

Nice unit but...be advised...Tempest P/N AA10-5304 WILL NOT FIT Beech Bonanza model 36 despite the Tempest applications info saying it would fit serials E-1 through E-184. Contacting Tempest direct on this matter.
