Wish I had know about these years ago

I am learning to scratch build an airplane. This was a big help learning that process. It takes materials and I have some now :D Excellent condition and they allowed me to come and pick up the stuff myself. Awesome! Great customer service. I had a lot of questions and they did not get upset with me when I changed my mind and decided to go in another direction. They simply supported me and I purchased even more stuff! I have been using this company for decades. I first started with the supplies needed for R/C aircraft back in the 80 and 90s.

This was my first experience with Cleco fasteners. These seem to be made well and have function very well. No complaints.

Best clecos ever. Just a hint of brown sugar flavor. A little too crunchy, but definitely not a problem if you let them soak in milk for a few minutes.

CLECO !! say it with me. CLECO ! Ah, thats great. Wasnt that fun. These things are priceless, well sixty two cents, but priceless knowhatimean. Get like three hundred and some of those side grip clamps, those are even good for stuff that isnt an airplane. A pneumatic cleco puller takes these to the next level. Throw in a super cobalt 1/8 bit for a buck, fits perfect now thanks Jim.

These things work great. Im using them for autobody repairs and they are excellent for fitting and installing panels. I would recommend these to anyone. Make sure you get some high quality Cleco pliers though!!

My first time using flecks. They are solid and the springs work fine. The surface can be scratched but that does not affect function. They stay in place although sometimes it is difficult to remove them. This may be due to the hole in which they are inserted or possibly my inexperience using flecks. On the other hand, the economy cleo pliers are not very good. The lower jaw which holds the shoulder of the cleco does not have a wide enough ridge and the cleco easily slips out of position. I advise spending the extra money and get a quality plier. These are a poor design.

Good, quality Clecos. Maybe 1 in 100 have a weak spring, but thats really of no consequence.

I found a few clecos that needed to be lubricated in order for them to work. Other than that they were fine.

Few items were defectives!

1 of 50 was defective.

I have been using wedgelok brand clecos, and these are inferior in comparison . They stick in the open position, the tips have large burs, and the tips don’t close together.

I purchased 200 of these and about 40% of the Clecos stick open. They do not snap closed on their own. After some effort they begin to function more or less properly but getting them to work is time consuming.

Ordered 200 for an RV-12 build and 30 of them failed to function properly within 8 months. AS was great and replaced the 30 and one of them failed within a week. Not real happy.

poor quality, it does not hold 3/16 size. I checked with 3/16 washer, falls right off. I already contacted customer service, waiting for reply

I have been using Wedgelock clecos. I needed extra and ordered what aircraftspruce have. The quality is very poor in comparison to Wedgelock. The tips appear to be damaged, and the jaws spread too far when compressed.
