For Bendix Early S-20, S-4, and S-6 Magnetos having a .375" diameter by 1.1" long lead. This unique design of the P-lead adapter ensures proper spring pressure against the internal contact. It provides secure and stable alignment, and includes a post that prevents the timer leads from falling off. These P-lead adapters work as advertised for early Bendix Mags. How do you know if these work for your Bendix mags? Pull the P-lead Connector out and measure the phenolic barrel. If it measures 3/8, these are the ones. This item provides an easy timing lite attachment for mag timing.

Works perfectly
Its so nice having the right tool for the job. Rather than improvising something like a nail driven lengthwise down a wooden dowel and then wrapping it with tape to get the right snug fit (its been done and it works, but.......). With this nice adapter you just unscrew the P-lead and screw this into the mag in its place. Poof! You have a place to clip your timing box to the mag in order the check the timing. Be sure to measure your particular Bendix mags P-lead since there are multiple sizes. Once you know the diameter and length of the probe on your P-lead connector you can order the correct adapter. Works great!!
