Installation Types
Tape ApplicationIf you are purchase a Small, WIDE, Large, RV-4, or RV-8 Sunshade, it will attach with double-stick tape. This tape has been used on the Koger SunShades for more than 15 years and has proven to last and remain securely attached to the canopy while having no structural impact. It is good to 300 degrees farenheit, so remains attached securely even in hot, sunny climates.
Velcro
If you purchase the RV-Slider or Super Slider shade, the front fabric panel will attach to the canopy cross bar with Velcro dots. This has proven to be a reliable and secure method of attaching the SunShade around the canopy handle.
Screws
RV-Sliders, Super Sliders, and some custom sunshades attach to steel tubes using small screws. The screws are secure and easily installed with the installation kit provided.

So glad I bought this shade! I love my bubble canopy and I have great ventilation so heat isn’t the issue. I can’t read my iPad, even on a cloudy day.! This solve the problem, even on the sunniest day. It really cuts the heat down too. Fits together like a Swiss watch, very well made. The installation is not difficult, just take your time. Bending the center rail to match the contour of your canopy is easy, go slow. I used a piece of string, stretched over the canopy, to make my center line, followed by electrical tape, then gently bent the rail. Worth every penny!
I purchased the wide tip-up sunshade for my Sonex OneX. The wide shade is designed for side-by-side Sonex aircraft (Sonex, Waiex, Xenos) but it fit the OneX just fine. Very easy to install, just follow the 2 page instruction sheet. Easy to open and close in flight. Highly recommend.
