Elastic-Insert Anchor Nut
All Metal Anchor Nut
(K1000-Full Size / MK1000-Miniature)
Simple, yet a very handy little thing when building aircraft panels.
ONE LUG ANCHOR NUT MS21071L3 (PACK OF 5)
The item is not the pictured item but is the correct one by description.
These miniature nut plates are great for applications that require a smaller footprint. The only thing to note is they are a little more difficult to install. What worked for me was to install a short machine screw to hold the nut plate with a cleco in the far end. Then, remove the cleco and use a rivet squeezer on the far end first. Remove the machine screw and install the second rivet.
Great service! Claudia went beyond normal expectations to find a source (NAS) of the one-leg anchor nut dimensions. Reasonably priced, quickly shipped.
These anchors are very light and very strong.
This all-metal fastener did just what I wanted it to do.
Worked great, small and compact, fits into tight spaces because most do not have a big fiber insert but rather a crimped metal one.
The part I received did not look like the photo. I was trying to match existing parts on the aircraft.
