I own two of them on my plane and I am very happy with. Very bright! Low current draw I consider this landing light as a safety device since other pilots told me that they saw the light before seeing the airplane itself
Definitely brighter than the AeroLEDs Sunray light, but not quite bright enough for real night operations, in my opinion. Bright enough to work great as recognition lights, but would need a bit wider field lens to work as a taxi light.
Mixed feelings. Lights are quite bright. But the wires are very short. About 6. Thats all you get. After installing the male Molex pins that came with the brackets (sold separately from manufacturer) I realized the wires are too short and cant reach the female connector in the wing. Had to spent a few extra hours to splice, crimp, etc. All this couldve been avoided if they were a little generous with the lead wires and gave a few extra inches.

This unit, 11-07779, is both moisture and shock resistant and capable of being exposed.
Per AeroLeds, this unit does not come with a bracket and they do not offer one.
These are priced and sold each, one light.
Yes this can be enclosed in an enclosed wing tip. It is designed for this and has external heat sink fins.
