| Scotch-Brite™ Bristle Discs are engineered to last longer and provide more surface contact than wire brushes. 3M's Ceramic Abrasive Grain technology features a blend of aluminum oxide and ceramic abrasive grain that enhances the toughness and hardness of the grain and continually self-sharpens to maintain a high cut rate. Combined with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres, these abrasives form an open-web material that runs cool resists loading. |

Information and ordering from Aircraft Spruce was great. The 3M Roloc Bristle discs I got worked perfectly for stripping old paint and leaving a smooth surface I could prime and paint. My experienced auto mechanic friend uses these to clean disc brake surface scale for brake jobs as the perfect tool to not harm the original surface. Discs last a long time. Im glad I got all three colors (50, 80, 120 grit) to cut through the various levels of rust scale or just remove the old paint on steel. I would buy again from Aircraft Spruce.
