The Mini Tubing Cutter performs where conventional tubing cutters simply cannot fit. With a 1-1/2 swing radius, the Mini Cutter is ideal for limited-space applications such as refrigerator and air conditioning repair. The adjustable jaws accept tubing sizes from 1/8" to 7/8 in diameter and up to 1/8" in wall thickness. Let me be clear, this cutter is doing it’s job. However, I purchased it specifically for cutting 3/16” (inside it’s advertised cutting range) 3003-O tubing, and the frame of the cutter badly scored my tubing. I tried flipping the tool around, cutting more slowly, using lubrication - there was no escaping the deep groove cut into my delicate tubing by the cutter frame. Fortunately, the frame is soft aluminum, and I was able to file the edges down so that they no longer stood proud above the roller assembly. It was a cheap tool, and it cuts, so it gets three stars. But it required some significant modification to work properly. Buyer beware.
