Pneumatic Riveter with Custom Machined Heads for use with Zenair blind rivets, sold separately

ZENAIR Riveting System
ZENAIR blind (or pulled) rivets have been used to construct the all-metal Chris Heintz designs since the 1970s, and make riveting a quick and easy process! The ZENAIR riveting system forms the rivet head as the blind rivet is pulled, providing a low profile dome finish and high shear strength. Fast installation, simple tools and low cost make this a popular riveting system with homebuilders!

Note: The riveter is supplied with the custom machined heads, required for the Zenair blind rivets, for use with Zenair blind rivets, sold separately.

Bought this to replace the same worn out riveter. The old one was good for about 16,000 rivets. Pulling strength nearly 2,000 lbs. I am very pleased with its performance. The Zenith concave riveter head comes in 1/8 and 5/32 inch. The 3/32 and 3/16 are flat tips.

Q: What size air compressor is recommended for pneumatic rivet puller?

A 20 gallon is recommended.

Q: Can you give me a list of both universal and countersunk heads that come with this puller?

This riveter is designed to be used with the Zenair specific 1/8" & 5/32" rivets. They are a special rivet, which look like countersunk rivets, but when pulled with this tool, they are round head. I could not find a countersunk rivet for this design rivet head. The rivet part #'s are 12-03709 & 12-03711.

Q: What is the weight of this riveter?

Approx 3.25 lbs.

Q: Where is this riveter made?

This is made in China.
