Overview

Gear Horn Upgrade installed under STC SA02760SE

From operational experience, Absolute Solutions has noted substantial reliability issues with the factory gear horn. The Gear Horn Upgrade will provide operators with a much more reliable way to achieve the same level of safety as the original system was designed to provide.

More durable and reliable horn
Our system incorporates a modern, piezo-electric gear horn with increased reliability over the factory gear horn.

Easy Installation
To make things easy, all factory wiring is retained. Only minor wiring modification is required.

Reviews

Great alternative to the unreliable super expensive (for what it is) Piper horn. Super easy install to replace the OEM horn. The little extra time it takes to do the paperwork for the STC pays for itself on initial install. I would recommend the full manifold pressure upgrade kit from the same company, especially on fleet aircraft, as downtime and flight check time is greatly reduced, but if that is not in the cards for you this is a great economical alternative. We have seen as good or better reliability compared to OEM horns, We have not had to replace any of these horns so I dont really have comparative numbers.
