AC1000 Matte Black Edition. Active Noise Reduction rated at 52 dB. Bluetooth Connectivity for Audio and Communication. |
Works as advertised. Great Value.
Bought these after flying with a borrowed Bose A20. The amount of noise these cancel is equal to Bose. Bose sound quality is near double these. For the price Im definately happy with the AC1000.
So far so good. Im an avcomm fan and so far this one doesnt disappoint.
Just got the headsets and for the money and quality, I love it! BTW- So does my wife, so I had to get one more )
Excellent audio quality. Comfortable on the head and comfortable and effective ear seals. The ANR feature is very effective. Once you use it, youll never go back. The blue tooth and aux audio cable set ups both work well and give nice choices for music and phone use. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Ill be buying another one for the right side seat.
Great headset. Comfortable, no pressure pain on ear. Strong noise cancelling performance Bluetooth works fine The control block is a bit bulky.
This headset works great! I was able to use the Bluetooth to make a call for more fuel as we were taxiing. We flew from Norcal to Socal and the headset worked great and was very comfortable. I am very happy with the quality of this headset.
Pros: ANR works very well, as does the bluetooth and aux (best music sound from aux in), is light and comfortable. Cons: only the aux & bluetooth are stereo (audio input is mono), and the audio quality (music) is much lower quality than even my old Lightspeed 15xl. Overall, if youre flying a noisy airplane without high quality audio panel / intercom you will not be disappointed. However, if you want listen to music from your GMA345 as you cruise cross country in a relatively quiet Bonanza or something, you would be much better served with even a good quality non ANR stereo headset.
Seems to be good so far. Students like the noise cancelling capability, the only thing we can complain about right now is that one of the ear muffs became undone after 2 months of use, but then again we are having them wipe them with clorox, when I reached out to Avcomm they wanted to sell me the pair replacement. I just use the ones from Faro headset we are replacing. The muffs are better on that one, but this headset is better than Faro
AVCOMM A1000 HEADSET ANR BLUETOOTH MATTE BLACK
ANR is excellent. Earcups/comfort very good, Bluetooth interface works perfectly. Sound quality is garbage. Like listening to AM radio in a 1960’s Volkswagen. But under $300, it’s a good value.
