The mic arm connection at the ear phone are not very tight so the mic arm continually falls down so the mic will not stay up at your mouth when you need to speak into it. I have this same problem on both sets I just bought.

Decent value. if you are not wearing a headset 8 hours a day you should look at this headset. As a general aviation pilot with 4 hour IFR missions couple of times a month I found this as a good deal especially with a $250 rebate from aircraft spruce on a old DC headset trade in.

Very good headset. Sound is very clear and the ANR makes all the difference from a regular headset. Great service from Aircraft Spruce Canada. Shipping was very fast.

I gave it a 5 because of the value compared to more expensive sets out there. They are just a little bulky looking (only reason I almost rated them a 4) but neither the wife or I notice it wearing them and we wear them all day sometimes! IMO theyre superior to the David Clarks that are a few hundred dollars more. Ear cups very comfortable and soft. Isnt painful putting them on when its 30 degrees:=)) Battery life seems to better than advertised!

I have used the Sierra for a couple years now and like it very much. It is light and very comfortable. Bluetooth works great.

Q: What are the differences between the Sierra and Zulu headsets.

The differences are: 1. Price point as the Sierra is more affordable 2. Zulu has a higher level of ANR 3. Zulu has a higher level of comfort 4. Only the Zulu can use the recording FlightLink app 3. The Zulu can stream music via Bluetooth where the Sierra can only use the Bluetooth for phone calls.

Q: Can the Lightspeed Sierra ANR headset be connected and used with the ICOM-A6 radio?

Yes, as long as you have the Icom OPC499 headset adapter (included in the Icom A6 box), you can connect this headset with the radio.

Q: Do you participate in the Lightspeed Headset Trade-Up program?

Yes, keyword search "Lightspeed Trade" on our website and you will locate the appropriate detail page.

Q: I would like to know if the Lightspeed Sierra headset comes with the lemo plug to avoid having to use AA double batteries?

No, this headset is equipped with dual GA plugs and requires batteries for ANR use.

Q: Just a question about use in a Lear 60. Is this particular model ok for a personal headset in that model?

Yes, as long as the Lear jet is equipped with dual GA plug jacks this will work in the aircraft. Please keep in mind the Lightspeed Sierra does not have FAA TSO approval.
