12 VDC Heated Probe for the KLR 10 unit.
This optional heated probe requires less than 8 AMP of electrical power at 12VDC. Electrical cable/wire must be installed such that the risk of mechanical damage and/or damage caused by fluids, vapors, or sources of heat, is minimized. Route as far away as possible from any instrument, system or wiring that may be affected (i.e. compass/flux gate, antenna or antenna coax). It is recommended that you use a MIL-SPEC. DC switch with silver contacts rated for twice the required amperage.
