Overview

MARTEC Serpe-lesm has developed a new programming equipment, PR600, intended to program all it range of ELTs and programming dongles. PR600 Programming equipment kit replaces the former PR550 Programming Equipment kit.

Q: Can I use the Kannad 406 PR 600 ELT programming trainer to change the tail number and other data to use on another airplane?

With the Kannad 406 PR 600 ELT programming trainer you can modify the country information along with tail number, 24 bit address or the serial number of the ELT.

Q: With a Kannad 406 PR600, can I program an Artex ELT?

No, this will only program Kannad ELTs. Artex requires a special programming device specific to Artex ELTs.

Q: Kannad e-Prog software comes with the kit?

This now comes with a self training program and a dongle, a cd is no longer provided.
