There is no specific aircraft application guide for this unit (part number 11-00885). Per the manufacturer, this would have to be connected to the battery by the clips and will charge at a 5 amp rate. So depending on the battery size, it should be ok.

Yes it will work with part # 11-00971. Part # 11-00885 is a low draw 3.5 amp rate.
