MFR Model# ETX1600

Overview

Note: Not FAA Approved. Intended for use in experimental aircraft only.

The ETX1600 motorcycle battery is perfect for motorcycles, Airboats, Harley touring bikes, UTV’s, race cars/auto, aircraft, and deep cycle applications. In addition, this is an excellent choice for police motorcycles that need 2 batteries to operate safely for engine starts and lights. You can replace it with this 1 battery, save a ton of weight and add a ton of reserve power and cranking power! Exact replacement size for the lead acid battery YIX30 or the U1 case too so no need to modify anything.

Also, this motorcycle battery is fully protected by an integrated battery management system (BMS). The BMS protects the cell’s from over discharge, over charge, short circuit, temperature, plus cell balancing to ensure charge levels are equal. Additionally, the ETX-Hundred Series batteries have redundant electronic circuits and battery fault indication. The fault indicator will connect into your EFIS or wired to a 12volt LED light on your control panel. The light will alert you to the state of charge and state of health of the battery.
