This is a general review for several different types of Amphenol-type crimp connectors. I bought an inexpensive crimping tool and have been very pleased with the final results. The outside crimp is very strong and professional looking. For those connectors that require the center pin to be crimped, it is a little tricky. I had to squeeze the pin several times to get a good bite on the center wire. The 90 degree pins require soldering the center pin. So your degree of soldering skill will determine if that is easy or difficult. All this was true for RG58 and RG400 connectors.
