Per MS20253E, the wire is made from Stainless in the FS 302, 304 or 316 range of material which is non-magnetic. Problem is, that cold working the material into straight lengths changes its structure and it becomes slightly magnetic. MS20253E also states the finish is Cad Plated
3 stars only because when it was received it appeared to be steel (not SS) - it looked to be plated with Cad and attracted a magnet. The person at ACS who answered my call said her notes indicated several customers have called with this issue and assured me it was stainless. Im writing this to save others the time and suggest that ACS put that tidbit of info on the site. Otherwise - it was a hinge pin of the correct length and diameter and was shipped and received on time and in good condition.

Yes. These are priced and sold as each, in 6 foot sticks. So if you want a 4 foot piece, you will need to order the 6 ft stick, and request cut to 4 ft piece and 2 ft piece.
This will ship in 6 foot straight lengths. We can cut it down to smaller pieces to help lower the freight costs, but this must be requested at time of order.
