82° finishing washers are used in non-structural interior and upholstery applications. The parts covered by NAS390 & NAS391 are getting harder to procure and do not necessarily conform exactly to all of the dimensions stated on the specs.

I used this on a carbon fiber panel where I needed the surface area to hold the part and a clean finish (no fastner head to get hung up). Used in conjunction with Phillip head machine screws.

Part # NAS391B4P is brass.

Q: You say part #391B4P is brass. The photos show this to be chrome or nickel plated? Are they chrome plated brass or brass colored?

They are nickel plated brass, the photo is accurate. They look polished like in the photos.

Q: what is the difference between countersunk and flush?

Countersunk sits proud of the surface but the screw will countersink into the washer. Flush would be flush with the surface.

Q: what is the OD of the 04-03897?

This measures to 0.467".
